Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) is seeking a regional operations leader responsible for the operation, personnel management, and service to customers within a specified geographic region. This onsite role drives safety and performance across the team.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in transportation, strong communication and conflict resolution skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent business experience in the transportation industry.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Promote and develop safe work behaviors in line with the companys safety programs and objectives.
• Monitor hours of service for drivers; maintain compliance with all company and government regulations and policies.
• Supervise performance of drivers to achieve incident free deliveries of every load.
• Lead, manage, evaluate, and develop staff personnel.
• Forecast terminal performance; evaluate performance and take corrective action to meet expense and financial forecast.
• Engage local customers regularly to drive growth and enhance relationships.
• Ensure maximum asset utilization.
