Job summary

Delek US Holdings is seeking a Terminal General Manager in the Seattle area to lead all aspects of plant operations, safety, environmental compliance, budgeting, and profitability. You will direct staff, coordinate with HSSE, Commercial, Logistics, Accounting and Engineering to ensure safe, reliable operations and capital project execution.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in engineering/mechanical/industrial maintenance, 5+ years in management, and familiarity with oil/chemical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 5 years in engineering, mechanical or industrial maintenance positions.
• 5 years in a management position.
• FEMA ICS-100 ICS-200 ICS-300 and HAZWOPER Supervisor Training.
• Familiar with environmental management practices in oil/chemical industry.
• Experienced in project management of plant infrastructure and efficiency on complex projects.

Job Summary

The Terminal General Manager position will be responsible for all aspects of plant operations including safety, environmental compliance, reliability, quality, employee relations, accounting, cost control and budgeting for the plant operation. This person will direct facility staff to manage a safe workplace, increase productivity and identify areas of improvement. The Terminal General Manager will work with corporate functions including HSSE, Commercial, Logistics, Accounting, and Engineering to ensure that the facility is constantly improving the safety and environmental performance of the plant, achieving all regulatory requirements, operating in a planned and reliable manner to maximize profitability and utilization of the facility. In addition, the Terminal General Manager will act as the Project Manager for all capital investments to maintain and or upgrade operational assets, in support of terminaling and storage operations for various hydrocarbon products.

Education and Experience

  • Monitor plant operations to make sure that environmental standards, government regulations and safety requirements are met.
  • Develop expense and capital budgets, gain approval, analyze monthly variances and lost opportunities, and operate the plant within budget parameters.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and standards including but not limited to environmental and regulatory, human resources, facility, equipment, operations, and maintenance.
  • Oversee internal and external plant audits and ensure action is taken on audit findings (if applicable).
  • Monitor plant generated reporting related to product quality, chemical usage, regulatory compliance tasks, equipment inspections, etc.
