Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Terminal Electrician to ensure continuous operation of the cement distribution terminal in New Orleans, LA. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant electrical systems in alignment with OSHA and Amrize safety guidelines.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience, basic MS Office skills, and a focus on safety, with opportunities to lead major electrical repairs and support daily terminal operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of work experience.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office, email, and clerical software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair a diverse range of electrical equipment throughout the terminal.
• Digital and Analog PLC program use and troubleshooting.
• Low and medium voltage cable routing, splicing and terminating.
• Basic mechanical activities such as welding and laser alignment.
• Report electrical problems to the Terminal Manager for action and participate in corrective actions.
