Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Electrician to ensure continuous operation of the cement distribution terminal in New Orleans-West Terminal LA. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, work with PLCs, route and terminate cables, and participate in safety and preventive maintenance programs.

The role requires a high school diploma, 5–7 years of experience, and basic MS Office skills. Safety-focused with ability to work with minimal supervision is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Trade certificate, technical degree, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of work experience.
• Basic computer skills with MS Office, email, and clerical software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment throughout the terminal.
• Use and troubleshoot PLC programs (digital/analog).
• Route, splice, and terminate low/medium voltage cables.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks and welding as needed.
• Report issues to Terminal Manager and assist corrective actions.
• Complete preventative inspections and document findings.
• Lead major electrical repairs to keep plant running.
• Maintain safe housekeeping and operate mobile equipment.
• Follow safety policies and PPE usage.
