Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Electrician to keep the cement distribution terminal running safely and efficiently in New Orleans-West Terminal LA. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, manage PLCs, and perform cable routing and basic mechanical tasks with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Required are 5-7 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant technical education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Trade certificate, technical degree or related experience preferred.
• 5-7 years of work experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair a diverse range of electrical equipment throughout the terminal.
• Handle PLC programming and troubleshooting (digital and analog).
• Route, splice and terminate low and medium voltage cables.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks including welding and laser alignment.
• Maintain safety standards and report issues to Terminal Manager.
• Complete work orders and assist in procuring parts and materials.
