Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Electrician for our New Orleans-West Terminal LA operations. The role covers maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing plant electrical systems with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of relevant experience, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced distribution environment. We offer comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
• Basic computer skills with MS Office, email, and clerical software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment in the terminal.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (digital and analog).
• Route, splice, and terminate low/medium voltage cables.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks such as welding and laser alignment.
• Report issues to Terminal Manager and participate in corrective actions.
• Conduct preventative inspections and document findings.
• Lead major electrical repairs to support plant operation.
• Maintain good housekeeping and operate mobile equipment safely.
• Complete work orders and assist in parts procurement.
• All duties related to daily terminal operations.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.
