Job summary

Amrize is seeking an electrical maintenance technician to support repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical power and control systems within the plant.

You will troubleshoot LV/MV motors, switchgear, PLCs and instrumentation, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with contractors while adhering to safety and environmental policies. A high school diploma is required; an associate/technical degree is preferred, with 2–4 years of industrial experience.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of electrical theory including electrical safety theory.
• Adherence to safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Ability to communicate and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks associated with assisting in the maintenance of electrical systems throughout the plant, including troubleshooting and repair of LV/MV motors and motor controls, repair of LV/MV switchgear, PLC troubleshooting and programming and instrumentation repair.
• Assists/conducts preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment.
• Works with contractor personnel and participates in team meetings.
• Demonstrates commitment to safety policies and environmental guidelines and maintains a clean, orderly work area.
