Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) seeks a Terminal Dispatcher to coordinate driver dispatch, bookings, and data entry to keep terminal operations running smoothly. The successful candidate will prioritize multiple tasks, ensure accurate billing, and communicate with the terminal on customer requests.

Applicants should have trucking/intermodal experience, knowledge of DOT regulations, and a capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in trucking/intermodal transportation is required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance is required.
• Thrives in a high paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize/multitask.
• Computer savvy and data entry skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch truck drivers for pickups at customer locations, ports, and railroads.
• Confirm proper bookings and billings to meet customer requirements.
• Enter data in the computer for planning and general information.
• Provide necessary communications to the terminal regarding customer requests.
• Be willing to work extended hours to meet customer needs.
