Job summary

East Texas A&M University in Commerce invites applications for a joint Associate or Full Professor and Assistant Dean (COB). This full-time, 9-month tenured role involves teaching two courses per long semester and leading COB graduate programs.

The Assistant Dean will coordinate scheduling, program development, assurance of learning, and quality standards, serving on the COB Executive Committee. ETAMU is a growing public university committed to academic excellence, research, and student success.

Qualifications

• Evidence of peer-reviewed publications within the last 5 years.
• Must be able to be qualified as graduate faculty.
• Experience teaching online and face-to-face graduate courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach, conduct scholarly activity, and provide service consistent with rank.
• Lead College of Business graduate programs and ensure AACSB standards.
• Coordinate scheduling, development, and assurance of learning for graduate programs.
• Collaborate with the Dean, Graduate School, and advisors; support enrollment growth.
• Travel between Dallas and Commerce campuses as required; participate in committees.
