Job summary

AgUpdate seeks a tenure-track faculty member in the Fisheries and Water Resources Discipline to teach, advise, and mentor undergraduate students, with emphasis on the Water Resources option. The role involves teaching Water Chemistry and Analysis, Wetlands Ecology and Management, and Introduction to Soil and Water Resources.

Primary duties include an 12-credit per semester teaching load, participation in Summer Field Experiences or International Field Experiences for additional compensation, and

Qualifications

• Record of scholarly achievement to complement teaching responsibilities.
• Experience with undergraduate and graduate research opportunities.
• Willingness to participate in international programs and outreach.
• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Teach 12 credits per semester during the academic year, including Water Chemistry and Analysis, Wetlands Ecology and Management, and Introduction to Soil and Water Resources.
• Provide Summer Field Experience and/or International Field Experiences for additional compensation.
• Engage in research and scholarship activities and mentor undergraduate/graduate students.
• Serve the College, University, and professional organizations as part of service responsibilities.
