Job Summary

The Department of Geography, Geology, and the Environment (GEO) () at Illinois State University seeks an environmental geochemist with an emphasis in water resources to help lead our growth as we expand programs in hydrogeology and environmental science. We invite applications for a nine-month, tenure-track position in Environmental Geochemistry at the Assistant Professor level.\ The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate a commitment to maintaining and growing meaningful research collaborations and externally funded research. An expectation of this position, which is at the intersection of Geology, Hydrogeology, and Environmental Science, is attracting new students into our existing undergraduate major programs and recruiting and advising students in the Hydrogeology M.S. program.
