Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of the analysis, design, and behavior of reinforced concrete structures.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate reinforced concrete design and related courses.
• Develop and teach upper-level electives and graduate courses for the structural engineering minor and possible graduate certificate.
• Develop, conduct, and supervise laboratory experiments for structural engineering courses and research.
• Build an active research program involving undergraduate and graduate students.
• Mentor students and contribute to department and University service.
