Qualifications

Earned doctorate in civil, structural, architectural engineering or closely related field from an accredited institution or international equivalent.
Excellence in teaching, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop externally funded, applied research involving undergraduate and graduate students.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate lecture courses and laboratories in civil engineering and structural engineering and design.
Teach graduate courses and laboratories in structural engineering, design, and their area of expertise.
Supervise undergraduate and graduate‑level research.
Develop and maintain externally funded research.
Engage in service activities including student advising, curriculum development and governance.
