Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field by Sept 1, 2027 or expected to complete by then.
• Ability to develop and manage externally funded research programs.
• Strong commitment to teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and to service within the department and university.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an externally funded research program in civil engineering, structural engineering, or mechanics.
• Contribute to teaching existing graduate and undergraduate courses and develop new curricula in structural engineering and mechanics.
• Provide service to the department, college, university, and the broader scholarly community.
