The College of New Jersey invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in Special Education in the TLCS department, to begin Fall 2027. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, conduct research, advise students, and contribute to program development.

Ideal candidates will hold a Doctoral degree in Special Education (ABD considered), demonstrate a commitment to inclusive, equity-minded teaching, and engage in scholarly work that informs

Qualifikationen

Doctoral degree in Special Education; ABDs considered if the degree will be completed prior to or shortly after the time of employment.
Commitment to excellence in teaching, impactful research, and student achievement.
Commitment to fostering inclusive, culturally responsive pedagogy and equity-minded student engagement.

Aufgaben

Teach undergraduate courses and some graduate courses in special education foundations, assessment and planning, instruction and behavior.
Engage in scholarly research leading to peer-reviewed publications.
Advise and mentor students, collaborate with stakeholders to support field experiences and program development.
Provide service to the college, school, department, program, profession and community.
