The successful candidate will teach courses across language, literature, and culture for undergraduates and contribute to the department and university through research and service.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Spanish or closely related field by the date of employment.
• At least one year of teaching experience in US institutions at the college level.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Teach a wide range of language, literature, and culture courses to undergraduates.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service.
• Maintain a teaching load of two courses per semester.
• Engage with interdisciplinary programs such as Global Studies, Latin American and Latino Studies, and Film and Documentary Studies.
