• Earned Ph.D. in Spanish or closely related field by the date of employment.
• At least one year of teaching experience in US institutions at the college level, including graduate fellowships.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach a range of language, literature, and culture courses to undergraduates.
• Contribute significant scholarship to the field and participate in departmental, college, and university service.
• Maintain a teaching load of two courses per semester.
