Qualifications

• Ph.D. in History (or related discipline) by Dec 31, 2027.
• Evidence of employment in public middle or high school as a licensed social studies teacher.
• Experience in teacher education programs or courses related to teacher preparation.

Responsibilities

• Teach social studies education classes and related history courses.
• Advise secondary History and Social Studies students.
• Prepare materials to maintain CAEP accreditation (NCSS standards).
• Collaborate with university supervisors for student teaching.
• Serve on the Central Teacher Education Network (CTEN) committee.
• Promote pedagogical innovation with technology in teaching and learning.
