Qualifications

Ph.D. in History (or related discipline) by Dec 31, 2027.
Experience teaching social studies in public schools or teacher education programs.
Ability to align materials with NCSS standards and CAEP accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

Teach social studies education classes and courses in fields aligned with history.
Advise secondary History and Social Studies students.
Prepare materials aligned with NCSS standards to maintain CAEP accreditation.
Collaborate with university supervisors for student teaching.
Serve on the Central Teacher Education Network (CTEN) committee.
Promote pedagogical innovation, especially integrating technology into teaching and learning.
