Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Communication Sciences and Disorders or closely related field.
• ASHA CCC-SLP eligibility/credentialing.
• Eligibility for California licensure in speech-language pathology.
• Knowledge of child language disorders for teaching courses.
• Strong potential for scholarly research leading to tenure publications.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in language development and developmental language disorders.
• Engage in a systematic program of scholarly research.
• Participate in faculty governance to support equity and inclusive environment.
• Serve on department, college, and university committees.
• Develop and improve instructional curricula and advise students.
