This 9‑month, full‑time, tenure‑track position emphasizes a research program aimed at high‑impact publications and external grant support, with teaching duties and mentoring across PhD programs.

Qualifications

• Terminal doctorate in physical therapy or rehabilitation sciences from an regionally accredited university.
• Licensed physical therapist in the U.S. with Nevada licensure eligibility.
• Evidence of scholarship with peer‑reviewed publications.
• Demonstrated grantsmanship and external funding experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse populations.
• Ability to collaborate, problem solve, and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop a program of research leading to publications in refereed journals.
• Procure external grant support for research activities.
• Mentor and advise in Interdisciplinary Health Science and/or Neuroscience PhD programs.
• Contribute to teaching in the DPT program and participate in service activities.
• Meet UNLV criteria for research productivity and impact.
