The role requires NCCPA PA certification with a master’s degree (or equivalent physician/health doctorate), clinical experience, leadership, and digital literacy.

Qualifikationen

• Be NCCPA-certified PA with minimum Master’s degree (PA-focused)
• Board-certified physician (ABMS or AOA) or doctoral degree in health-related field
• Physician and PA must be eligible for a Michigan license
• At least 3 years of clinical experience if candidate meets criteria (a) or (b)
• Demonstrate leadership and ability to work with others

Aufgaben

• Assist with PAS program curriculum design and evaluation
• Develop and revise instructional materials (lectures, modules, online content)
• Serve as course coordinator as needed
• Provide lectures, labs, and educational sessions to students
• Supervise and instruct students in didactic and clinical years
• Evaluate student performance against competencies and objectives
• Participate in clinical site visits to monitor progress and training quality
• Engage in academic advising to ensure progression of PAS students
• Ensure remedial instruction availability when needed
• Contribute to program assessment and policy development
• Recruit and develop qualified faculty and staff as needed
• Maintain contact with clinical training sites to promote quality supervision
