Grand Valley State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-stream Assistant Professor position in the Master's in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program, located in Grand Rapids, MI. The appointee will contribute to teaching, scholarship, and service, with a focus on PAS education and student development.

The program emphasizes inclusive excellence and collaboration among diverse students, faculty, and staff.

Formación

• Be NCCPA-certified PA with a master's degree, or a board-certified physician, or a health-related doctoral degree.
• Physician and PA applicants must be eligible for a Michigan license.
• At least three years of clinical experience if applicable.
• Demonstrate leadership and digital literacy in academic settings.
• Commitment to the mission and goals of the university, college, and program.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with designing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the PAS curriculum.
• Develop and revise instructional materials, including lectures and online modules.
• Serve as course coordinator as needed.
• Provide lectures, labs, and other educational sessions to students.
• Supervise and instruct students in didactic and clinical years.
• Evaluate student performance according to competencies and outcomes.
• Conduct clinical site visits to monitor progress and training quality.
• Participate in academic advising and remediation efforts for PAS students.
