This full-time, first-shift faculty role leads curriculum design, delivery, and assessment for the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program, promoting student success and scholarly activity.

The position requires an entry-to-practice PA degree from an ARC-PA-accredited program, a master's degree, and extensive teaching experience.

Qualifications

Entry-to-practice Physician Assistant degree from an ARC-PA-accredited program and regionally-accredited institution.
Earned masters degree from a regionally-accredited institution; must be in the assigned area of education or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of effective teaching experience at the rank of Assistant Professor; 10 years of full-time teaching experience (or 5 years if a doctoral degree).
Minimum of 3 years of direct patient care as an occupational therapist.
Evidence of scholarly engagement and currency; valid Ohio PA licensure; NCCPA certification; BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership in curriculum design, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program.
Advance student success and support departmental and institutional goals through academic and professional engagement.
Mentor students and colleagues; maintain scholarship and contribute to program quality and innovation.
Foster collaboration across academic and administrative units and perform other duties as assigned.
