The position focuses on clinical and didactic instruction for a traditional baccalaureate program, with expectations for scholarship and service including curriculum development and student advising. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing teaching experience.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York or eligibility for RN licensure in New York state.
• National certification in specialty area of focus is preferred.
• Master’s degree in nursing is required.
• Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD or DNP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach clinical and didactic courses for a traditional 4-year baccalaureate nursing program.
• Engage in teaching, scholarship and service.
• Participate in curriculum development and revision, student assessment, and advising.
• Contribute to student recruitment activities and professional organizations.
• Pursue publications, presentations and research.
