Job summary

Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, CT invites applications for the Assistant Professor of Nursing (IO-month), Tenure Track in the Department of Health Sciences and Nursing.

The faculty member will teach across didactic, clinical, lab and simulation settings, with a workload of 12 FLCs per semester, and contribute to curriculum development, research, advising and service.

Qualifications

• RN license (CT eligible by start date)
• Doctorate in Nursing (PhD, EdD, or DNP)
• Minimum of 5 years clinical nursing experience in relevant area
• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in academic nursing education
• Evidence of scholarly productivity

Responsibilities

• Teach across didactic, clinical, laboratory and simulation settings.
• Maintain workload of 12 FLCs per semester.
• Contribute to curriculum development, nursing and health science research, program and student evaluation.
• Provide academic advising and participate in professional service activities
