Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Pharmacology or Neuroscience, or related discipline.
• 3–4 years of postdoctoral experience.
• Extensive research experience with publications and current funding.
• Experience teaching at the graduate level.
• Experience mentoring undergraduate and/or graduate students.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and mentoring of graduate students, postdoctoral trainees, and staff.
• Advancing a high-quality record of peer-reviewed publications in vision-focused research.
• Participating in departmental and Institute activities as assigned.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Seeking extramural funding to support research.
• Promoting the mission, vision, and values of UNT Health.
