Job summary

The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth seeks a dynamic tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Pharmacology and Neuroscience. Qualifications

Ph.D. required in Pharmacology or Neuroscience or related field.
Experience teaching at the graduate level is required.
Evidence of research funding and publications is expected.
Experience mentoring undergraduate and/or graduate students is preferred.

Responsibilities

Teaching and mentoring graduate students, postdocs, and staff in research projects.
Advancing an established peer‑reviewed publication record in vision-focused or neuroscience research.
Participating in departmental and institute activities and committees.
Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Seeking extramural funding to support high‑quality research.
Promoting the mission and values of UNT Health.
