Qualifications

• Doctorate in composition or related field required or ABD considered.
• Demonstrated ability for effective teaching at the college level.
• Fluency in area(s) of music technology (electronic media, interactive music, scoring, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience guiding composers of diverse styles/interests.

Responsibilities

• Teach private composition lessons, core theory/musicianship courses, and music technology.
• Contribute to recruitment, advising, and retention of music students.
• Maintain active creative activity and service to the college.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments while supporting a diverse campus community.
