Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Music Education completed by time of hire.
• Advanced ABD candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate music education courses and related music courses (20 credit hours per year).
• Mentor students outside of class during office hours.
• Advise Music Education students and assist with practicum placements.
• Become involved in student organizations and stay current in the field.
• Publish according to department guidelines and participate in college service.
• Contribute to department searches, student group advising, admissions, days and outreach.
• Participate in college-wide service and major service roles.
