The Resch School of Engineering at UW-Green Bay invites applications for a tenure-track Mechanical Engineering faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, starting January 2027. Responsibilities include teaching in theory and lab courses, advising students, and developing an active research program in collaboration with students and faculty.

Preference given to expertise in Materials, Manufacturing, or Controls and Automation.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field, or ABD by Dec 2026.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in research.
• Associate Professor rank requires strong track record in teaching, research, and service.

Responsibilities

• Teach a course load of 24 contact hours per academic year with a 3-credit remission in the first year.
• Instruct theory and lab courses in Mechanical Engineering programs.
• Conduct ABET-related assessment activities.
• Advise and mentor students and develop a strong research program.
• Engage in institutional and community service and contribute to program development.
