Job summary

Concordia University Wisconsin invites applications for a full-time Mechanical Engineering faculty position on the Mequon campus, beginning August 2027. The role centers on teaching across lower and upper level courses, mentoring students, and pursuing scholarly work in electromechanical systems, robotics, and instrumentation.

The successful candidate will design curricula, engage in ABET accreditation activities, and partner with industry to provide senior design projects and internships,

Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in control systems.
• Prior teaching experience preferred and ABET knowledge a plus.
• Active industry collaboration to provide avenues for seniors design projects and internships.
• Effort to obtain and maintain professional licensure or certifications with professional societies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop curriculum with integrated laboratory components and hands-on learning.
• Assist the Chair with ongoing tasks to maintain program quality as it grows.
• Provide student instruction, evaluation, and academic advisement.
• Develop syllabi and evaluation mechanisms for courses.
• Support program accreditation activities and outcomes assessment.
