Job summary

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks an Assistant Teaching Professor in Electrical Engineering to advance the EE/EET programs through innovative teaching and ABET-related activities. You will teach a 27-contact-hour load across upper- and lower-level courses and contribute to program development within the Resch School of Engineering.

This role emphasizes student-centered learning, inclusivity, and collaboration with colleagues, while supporting UW-Green Bay’s values and regional

Qualifications

Earned MS or higher in Electrical Engineering or closely related field from an accredited institution.
The degree should be completed no later than August 2026.

Responsibilities

Perform assessment associated with ABET accreditation.
Utilize teaching strategies that support the access mission of the University.
Teach a load of 27 contact hours including Technical Writing, upper-level, and lower-level courses to support UW‑Green Bay’s Electrical Engineering (EE) and Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) programs.
Possible courses to be taught are: Control Systems Engineering, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, Measurement and Instrumentation, Electronic Devices, and Senior Design Project.
Perform institutional service and contribute to the ongoing programmatic development within the Resch School of Engineering.
Teach core general education courses and First Year Seminars that support the Resch School of Engineering’s mission of contributing to the University’s core general education curriculum.
Possible general education courses to be taught are Smart Cities and Digital Transformation.
