Texas A&M University Texarkana invites applications for a full-time, nine-month tenure-track faculty position in Mechanical Engineering at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. The successful candidate will teach and develop ME courses, advise students, and contribute to scholarship, service, and ABET activities.

The role offers opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, graduate education, industry partnerships, and externally funded research in a dynamic learning environment.

Competenze

• PhD in mechanical engineering or closely related field.
• Evidence of effective teaching in mechanical engineering courses and laboratories.

Mansioni

• Establish an active scholarly program with peer-reviewed publications and external funding.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate ME courses and laboratories; develop course material.
• Develop courses, labs, and instructional materials for the 126-credit-hour curriculum.
• Assess student learning and use results to improve courses and program effectiveness.
• Advise and mentor students on academic, research, and career matters.
• Contribute to ABET preparation, accreditation, and program improvement.
• Lead or support development and operation of ME teaching/research labs.
• Serve on division, college, and university committees.
