Texas A&M University Texarkana invites applications for a full-time, nine-month tenure-track Associate/Full Professor of Electrical Engineering. The appointment focuses on teaching and developing undergraduate and graduate courses, especially in robotics, control systems, and computer engineering.

Qualifications

Earned Ph.D. in electrical/computer engineering or closely related field.
Record of effective teaching in electrical and computer engineering courses and laboratories.
Active and impactful research with external funding appropriate to the rank.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a growing college.

Responsibilities

Establish an active scholarly program with peer-reviewed publications and external funding.
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in robotics, control systems, and computer engineering.
Develop courses and laboratories supporting the 126-credit-hour curriculum.
Advise and mentor students on academic and career matters.
Contribute to ABET assessment, accreditation, and curriculum development.
