Job summary

Harford Community College seeks a full-time, tenure-track Mechanical Engineering Faculty member to begin January 2027. The successful candidate will mentor students and help shape the engineering curriculum in a collaborative, student-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering with at least 18 graduate credits in Engineering.
• Ability to teach courses such as Introduction to Engineering, Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Mechanics of Materials, Calculus I and/or II.
• Interest in incorporating MATLAB into engineering and mathematics instruction.
• No prior teaching experience is required; industry candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Teach and assess student learning in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats.
• Develop and enhance curriculum.
• Advise and mentor students.
