Western Carolina University invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Management starting August 2027. The successful candidate will teach Strategic Management and related courses, contribute to an active research agenda, and participate in service within the School of Economics, Management, and Project Management.

The role includes teaching three courses per semester (in-person/online), advising, and campus/community engagement to support student success

Qualifications

• Teaching experience at the graduate level (preferred).
• Strong research agenda in Strategic Management or related area.
• Evidence of scholarly activity and publication potential.

Responsibilities

• Teach three courses per semester (face-to-face and/or online).
• Conduct scholarly research leading to peer‑reviewed publications.
• Advise students and engage in service activities as designated by the school.
