Job summary

University of South Carolina Aiken invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Management in the School of Business Administration. This tenure-track, 9-month position begins January 1, 2027 or August 16, 2027, with responsibilities in teaching, research, and service.

The candidate must hold a doctorate in management or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution; ABD considered with degree conferred by appointment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in management or closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution; ABD considered with degree conferred by time of appointment.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness is desired.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in general management, organizational behavior, and human resource management in online and traditional settings.
• Conduct scholarly research of sufficient quality and quantity to satisfy SOBA guidelines for SA qualification.
• Provide service to the School and University as a faculty member.
