Job summary
Concordia University Chicago seeks a Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor of Anatomy & Physiology to advance immersive, technology-enhanced learning across Biology, Exercise Science, Nursing, and Movement Science programs.
The candidate will oversee the new cadaver laboratory, implement Anatomage-based curricula, and develop VR experiences while maintaining an active scholarly agenda and contributing to curriculum and program assessment.
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Biology, Physiology, Exercise Science, or related field.
- Experience with cadaver dissection instruction and laboratory management.
- Familiarity with Anatomage or virtual dissection tools in education.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate Anatomy & Physiology courses across Biology, Exercise Science, and Nursing programs.
- Lead development and management of the new cadaver laboratory; establish protocols and safety standards.
- Integrate Anatomage Table into curricula; develop virtual dissection exercises and assessments.
- Design VR learning experiences for anatomy and health science courses.
- Advise and mentor undergraduate students and participate in curriculum development and oversight.
