Job summary

The Department of Exercise & Sport Science at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse is seeking applicants for a 9-month tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor with the start date of 8/23/2027.

We encourage applications from candidates with expertise in Applied Exercise Science and Human Performance, including strength and conditioning, fitness assessment, sport analytics, nutrition, and aging, to join a community dedicated to teaching and student success.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Exercise science/kinesiology discipline or related field required by end of first academic year.
• Evidence of ability to be an effective instructor.
• Evidence of clear and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses and advise students.
• Maintain currency in the content area and provide regular feedback on student work.
• Maintain appropriate records and hold office hours.
• Develop an active program of scholarly activity and contribute to service.
