Job summary

Regis University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Secondary Education, starting August 2027. This on-ground, in-person faculty role focuses on foundations, secondary content, methods, and CLD learners, with opportunities to shape program development and advising.

Requirements include a doctoral degree in education and demonstrated evidence of effective face-to-face teaching, along with commitment to preparing diverse K-12 learners and service

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Education or closely related field.
• Experience teaching traditional, on-ground undergraduate courses.
• Expertise with CLD learners, multicultural education, or ML/ELL.

Responsibilities

• Teach on-ground undergraduate courses in foundations, content, methods, and assessment.
• Maintain regular on-campus presence for classes, office hours, and advising.
• Advise undergraduate education majors.
• Engage in scholarly activity appropriate to rank.
• Participate in divisional, college, and university service.
• Support program accreditation and continuous improvement.
• Serve on the Committee on Teacher Education and liaise with Secondary Education majors.
