Job summary

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Curriculum & Instruction starting Fall 2027. This 9-month tenure-track/tenured position requires face-to-face campus presence and active scholarly engagement.

The successful candidate will teach in Undergraduate Teacher Preparation and Graduate C&I programs, mentor students, conduct research, and contribute to service within the department, College, and university.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of EC-12 teaching experience or equivalent.
• 18 graduate credit hours in Curriculum & Instruction.
• Current teaching certification or eligibility.
• Experience with curriculum alignment, mapping, development, program evaluation, assessment, and online course development and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Curriculum & Instruction.
• Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students/candidates.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
