Parkland College in Champaign, IL invites applications for a Construction Management Tenure-Track Faculty position. This on-campus, full-time appointment offers a starting salary of $49,454.18 to $74,616.65, commensurate with certifications, teaching experience and education.

Teaching includes land surveying, CAD, construction plan reading, and cost estimating, with governance and student mentoring duties. Minimum requirements include an A.A.S.

Competenze

• A.A.S. degree in field plus five years of industry experience, or advanced degree with equivalent education and experience.
• OSHA 30 Safety Certification, or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
• Post-offer, pre-employment criminal background check with fingerprinting per applicable laws.
• Ability to learn Parkland information systems and new programs as technology changes.
• Availability to teach evening and/or weekend classes as needed.
• SURS return-to-work restrictions compliance for employment of retirees.

Mansioni

• Provide classroom instruction per college objectives and assess program outcomes.
• Inform students of course regulations, evaluation procedures, and post syllabi on LMS by set dates.
• Teach courses during day, evening, and weekend hours to meet program and industry needs.
• Deliver courses through flexible, hybrid, non-traditional delivery formats.
• Maintain regular office hours and assist students in a timely manner.
• Advise/mentor students and participate in departmental governance and curriculum updates.
• Maintain accurate scholastic records and submit progress reports by deadlines.
• Engage in student recruitment and retention efforts and external relations.
