Qualifications

• Must be credentialed to satisfy accrediting bodies.
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential is required.
• Associate degree in surgical technology is required.
• Three years of full-time CST work or teaching experience within the last five years.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach surgical technology and sterile processing courses as assigned.
• Provide classroom instruction in line with course objectives and outlines.
• Maintain regular office hours and assist students in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and supervise clinical education experiences and student progress.
• Enter grades and attendance in Cobra and manage lab activities.
• Comply with FERPA, Title IX, accessibility requirements, and policies.
