Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field completed before July 2027. ABD candidates considered if the degree is completed before July 2027.
• Research experience in computational chemistry, quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics, cheminformatics, ML/AI, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Teach lower- and upper-division undergraduate courses (lectures and labs) based on interests and department needs.
• Establish an active, sustained research program engaging undergraduate students in computational chemistry.
• Serve on department and university committees.
