The Department of Chemistry at MIT, together with the MIT Schwarzman College of Computing, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment beginning July 1, 2027 or as soon thereafter as possible. The position seeks candidates who develop computational chemistry, machine learning, or generative AI approaches to address central problems across chemistry.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in chemistry, computational chemistry, biochemistry, computer science, or a related discipline is required.
• Evidence of ability to develop an independent, funded research program.
• Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students in chemistry or related fields.
