Job summary

Qualifications

• The successful candidate must have an earned Ph.D. in Biology or a related field.
• Ability to teach introductory and advanced undergraduate honors biology courses.
• Contribute to a team-taught Core/Great Texts curriculum.
• Preferred: prior college-level teaching experience, directing student research, and honors education.

Responsibilities

• Teach 12–15 contact hours per semester.
• Hold approximately 10 office hours per week.
• Advise students as assigned.
• Direct undergraduate theses as needed.
• Maintain and advance a research agenda.
• Develop curricula.
• Participate in committees as assigned.
