Job summary

Qualifications

• Preferred: prior college-level teaching experience, directing student research, and honors education.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have an earned Ph.D. in Biology or a related field. The successful candidate will be able to teach introductory and advanced undergraduate honors biology courses, as well as be able and willing to contribute to a team-taught Core/Great Texts curriculum. Preference will be given to applicants with prior college-level teaching experience, experience directing student research, and experience in honors education. The successful candidate will have demonstrated evidence of scholarly achievement. Applicants should be committed to liberal arts education and willing to interact with colleagues and students from other fields in the arts and sciences to maintain and improve an integrated, multidisciplinary honors curriculum.
