Concordia College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Biology beginning August 2027. We seek a broadly trained biologist who can contribute to introductory and upper-level biology courses and mentor undergraduates in research.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in biological sciences and demonstrate potential for outstanding teaching, active undergraduate research, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in the biological sciences.
• Demonstrated potential for outstanding undergraduate teaching.
• Demonstrated potential for developing an active undergraduate research program.
• Expertise and teaching interests that complement Concordia's Biology program.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory biology (evolution & diversity, ecology) and upper-level courses.
• Mentor undergraduate students in research and independent projects.
• Collaborate across disciplines and participate in service on committees.
