Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering in transportation engineering to begin Fall 2027. The successful candidate will lead curriculum development for the Civil Engineering program, teach undergraduate courses, and establish a vigorous research program.

The department seeks candidates with a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or related field (ABD considered), demonstrated research and teaching in transportation

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or related field is required or ABD, by the time of appointment.
• Experience in transportation/traffic engineering research and teaching.
• Record of scholarship and potential for building a research program.

Aufgaben

• Develop and refine the Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering program and teach undergraduate courses.
• Develop and mentor a research program in transportation engineering.
• Contribute to graduate programs (MS and PhD) and curriculum development.
